Define Source Systems

This section explains how to define source systems in Yotilla.

In the current version of Yotilla the source data must be located in an external staging area on the target system. Yotilla will see the external staging area on the target system as a source system.

Prerequisites

A valid target system must exist and be accessible to Yotilla. For more information, see Define a Target System.

Define a New Source System

1. On the Source Systems page, click on New source system.

2. In the dialog, enter the following details:

   Name	A name for the new source system
   Location	The schema on the target system that contains the source data

3. Click on Define.

Verification

All source system connections are shown on the Source Systems page.

The Environment menu and the columns that show connection status and history are not used for source systems located on a target system.
