Sign Up to Yotilla

This section explains how to sign up and start using Yotilla.

Yotilla is a cloud service that is offered as a subscription on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace. To sign up for Yotilla you need an AWS account with the relevant permissions.

After activating your subscription on AWS you need to register a Yotilla user account to get access to the Yotilla portal, where you can create and manage your application instances. The Yotilla application is accessed from your web browser and does not require installation.

Step 1: Subscribe to Yotilla on AWS Marketplace

  1. Log in to AWS Marketplace using your AWS credentials. If you do not have an AWS account you can create one from the Amazon Console.
  2. Search for Yotilla in the AWS marketplace and select the Yotilla product offered by Exasol AG.

  3. On the Product Overview page, click on View purchase options.

  4. Choose the desired purchase options and click on Create contract.

    Yotilla offers several different contract options including a free Basic tier to get you started, with additional usage capacity offered as pay-as-you-go. For more information, see Pricing.

    If you do not want your contract to be automatically renewed at the end of the contract period, select No in Renewal settings. The default selection is Yes.

  5. In the confirmation dialog that opens, review your contract details and click on Pay now.

    For the free tier the amount due will be zero and your account will not be charged.

  6. Click on Set up your account to continue to the Yotilla sign-up page.

Each subscription supports one Yotilla account. If you need more than one account you must create additional subscriptions.

Unsubscribe

To end your Yotilla subscription, visit your contract page on AWS Marketplace and cancel the automatic renewal in Modify renewal terms.

Step 2: Create a Yotilla Account

  1. Fill in the requested user details and create a secure password, then click on Sign up.

    The email address can only be used once. If you create additional subscriptions to have more than one Yotilla account, you have to use a different email address for each account.

  2. The following window shows the unique organization name that has been generated for your account. The organization name will be required when you sign in to Yotilla.

    Click on the organization name to copy it to your clipboard.

  3. Click on the confirmation link in the email that was sent to the email address that you provided when creating the account.

    When you have confirmed your account you will be automatically redirected to the Sign in to Yotilla page.

Sign In to Yotilla

  1. Enter the organization name for your Yotilla account, then click on Continue.

  2. Enter the email address and password that you provided when signing up, then click on Continue.

That’s it! You will be automatically redirected to the Yotilla Portal.
