CURRENT_TIMESTAMP
Purpose
This function returns the current timestamp, interpreted in the current session time zone.

Usage notes

The return value is of data type
TIMESTAMP(precision) WITH LOCAL TIME ZONE. If no precision is given, the data type isTIMESTAMP(3) WITH LOCAL TIME ZONE. -
The return value is limited to microsecond precision, even if precision is greater than 6.

In Exasol versions before 8.32.0 the maximum precision is
3(millisecond). -
The function NOW is an alias for
CURRENT_TIMESTAMP(3). -
