Drivers

This section describes how to install and use drivers provided by Exasol for connecting with third-party tools.

Exasol provides the following drivers:

• JDBC Driver
• ODBC Driver
• ADO.NET Data Provider
• PyExasol
• R Package
• Call Level Interface SDK
• WebSockets

Download the latest drivers from the Exasol Download Portal. The latest drivers are backwards compatible with all supported Exasol database versions. We strongly recommend that you always use the latest driver.

To download the latest JDBC or ODBC drivers in Exasol SaaS, you can use the Connect via tools wizard in the web console.
