Network Security

For an extra layer of network security, you can define an allowed list of IP addresses (IPv4, IPv6, or CIDR) which are authorized to connect to your databases. Any IP address that is not in the list will not be able to connect to your database.

The Network Security page is available by clicking Security Security. The following image shows you the main elements in the Network Security user interface.

  1. Add network button: Click this to define which IP addresses can access your database.
  2. Search rule search box: Search the list for a specific network by entering either the rule name or IP range/network.
  3. Morebutton: Shows additional options, like Edit or Remove.
