Background

The SUPERCONNECTION feature was previously restricted to the SYS user:

JDBC driver
Using the ODBC Driver
ADO.NET data provider

Users with the DBA role were unable to establish super connections.

Improvement

The SUPERCONNECTION capability has been extended to support all users with the DBA role, in addition to the existing SYS user support. DBA users can now establish super connections.
