SaaS Editions Overview

Exasol SaaS is a subscription service with multiple editions that provide different levels of functionality. You may change your subscription or cancel your account at any time.

You can subscribe to either of the following Exasol SaaS editions:

  • Standard edition: The ideal choice to improve the performance of current data business intelligence (BI) stacks and give their reporting speeds a boost to enable real-time, self-service business intelligence.

  • Enterprise edition: The ideal choice for a scalable platform that needs advanced analytics and data integration. Data that requires multi-departmental analytics environments, needs to perform machine learning or artificial intelligence in the database, or has complex requirements in terms of data integration and data vitalization will be greatly enhanced with Enterprise edition.

The Exasol SaaS Free Trial provides all the functionality of the Enterprise edition. You can use the free trial for 30 days or $500 credits worth of use, whichever is depleted first. You do not have to provide payment information during the trial period. After the trial, you will be charged monthly for the subscription of your choice.

Change Subscriptions

Before you change your subscription, consider the following:

  • You can change your subscription to the Enterprise edition at any time. The change will take effect immediately.

  • To change your subscription from the Enterprise edition to the Standard edition, the number of databases and clusters and their type must be supported in the Standard edition. For more information, see Add Database and Add Cluster.

  • You can only change your subscription from the Enterprise edition to the Standard edition after 30 days. For example, if you change your subscription from the Standard edition to the Enterprise edition on June 1, you must wait until July 1 to change back to the Standard edition.

To change your subscription, do the following:

  1. Log in to the web console as a user with the Owner role.

  2. On the Billing page, under Current edition, click on Change edition and select a different edition.

Cancel Account

You may cancel your account at any time through a support request. To send a support request, click on Help > Support in the web console.
