Exasol is available as on-premise installation (customer hardware or Exasol appliance), as database-as-a-service offering (ExaCloud), or in public clouds (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). In addition, Exasol facilitates hybrid cloud environments:
- Exasol On-premise: You can install Exasol Enterprise Cluster on your own hardware in a customized environment according to your requirements. To know about the list of certified hardware, see Certified Hardware.
- ExaCloud: If you want to use dedicated hardware tailored to your requirements in a cloud-like scenario, you can use ExaCloud.
- Exasol on Public Cloud: You can deploy Exasol on public cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. You can use Exasol Cloud Deployment Tool to deploy Exasol on your choice of cloud platform.
Licenses can be obtained directly from Exasol (for more details, see Licensing) for all these deployment options. For cloud deployments, a pay-as-you-go (PAYG) version is available in corresponding marketplaces as alternative to the bring-your-own-license (BYOL) model.
