In Oracle, every user owns a corresponding schema with the same name as the user. In Exasol, users and schemas can be created independently. Therefore, unused schemas or schemas where no schema objects exist (for example, for read-only users) can be omitted when migrating to Exasol.
You can use the Oracle to Exasol migration script to automatically create the relevant schemas in Exasol. For more details about the database migration scripts, see Table Definition.
