Load data from Databricks

Learn how to connect to Databricks from Exasol and load data.

Download JDBC driver

Download the Databricks JDBC driver from JDBC Drivers Archive | Databricks.

Add JDBC driver

Create a configuration file called settings.cfg with the following settings:

DRIVERNAME=DATABRICKS
PREFIX=jdbc:databricks:
NOSECURITY=YES
FETCHSIZE=100000
INSERTSIZE=-1

The settings.cfg file must end with an empty line (line break followed by zero characters).

Load data

Use IMPORT to load data from a table or SQL statement using the connection that you created.
