For production environments

On-premises, hybrid, or cloud deployment

Exasol can be installed as a Linux application on your own hardware or on cloud instances on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. You can combine on-premises and cloud-based resources for optimal flexibility and scalability and to meet your performance needs.

To learn about system requirements and how to deploy Exasol, see Installation.

Software as a service (SaaS)

Exasol SaaS is a fully-managed cloud service built on top of the Exasol database architecture. Using Amazon S3 as a storage backend, one database can support multiple compute clusters that all access the same data, providing flexibility for organizations to split and isolate workloads on demand.
