Inconsistencies in the internal lock mechanism can cause SQL processes to abort

Problem Description

In very rare cases, an inconsistency in the internal lock mechanism can cause an SQL process to abort. This problem can only occur when the database needs to load data from disk. The frequency of this problem seems to scale with the number of database nodes and the number of transactions per hour.

Attention:
In even more rare cases, the server processes of the database can also be affected. In this scenario, all server processes and all SQL processes must be restarted.
