Background
For internal housekeeping, the Exasol log files are 'rotated' every 24 hours, active processes are notified to re-open their output log.
Problem
In rare scenarios, database processes may crash during the daily log rotation.
Depending on the affected process this may lead to an error during query execution or a restart of a service process which results in a short interruption in database availability.
