High memory consumption of the objectserver process can lead to a significant slow down of the database. The database may even run out of memory which leads to a system restart.
It is very likely that a memory leak in the query cache is responsible for the high memory consumption.
How to identify: Currently the memory consumption of the service processes of the database can only be analyzed with checking logfiles (or tools like top,...). Please address our Support Team if you suspect, that your system is affected by this issue.
Workaround: The system slow down can be avoided with a preventive manual system restart or by disabling query cache.
