The internal scheduler crashes due to a timing issue inside hardware clocks. Supposedly only somewhat older hardware can produce this effect.
The problem is fixed therein that such timing issues are corrected / ignored.
Workaround
Disable the logserver tasks using the paramter
-disableSyncTasks=1
