Remote backup and restore operations have been significantly accelerated.

Internal benchmarks achieved a speedup of approx 2x-3x for backup and 1.5x-2x for restore operations. Please note that that the actual speedup highly depends on the particular system configuration and may significantly deviate from the results obtained in our internal benchmarks.
