In case of a node failure and a subsequent automatic database restart, the restart may sometimes fail. The symptoms of this problem are
- the database does not get into a state to accept client connections after the restart and
- the following message appears in the monitoring service after approximately 7 minutes:
Controller(0.1): Service process exited: PddServer 1.0 exited after signal 6.
Workaround: the database can be restarted manually afterwards.
