Possible issues with newly installed cluster nodes after update to version 6.0.0
This problem can occur under the following conditions:
- an update to version 6.0.0 has been conducted from a version less than 5.0.19 and
- a cluster node has been installed after the update
The symptoms are
- problems to call submitFirewallConfiguration() on such nodes
- problems to use optionally installed 3rd party tools on such nodes, e.g. hardware specific monitoring tools
The underlying cause is a kernel package update problem during the update to version 6.0.0. As a fix, one can either
- apply a CentOS update package for version 6.0 or
- update to version 6.0.1
