Amazon S3™ provides support for data encryption of bucket objects at rest. By providing the flag s3s to a remote archive volume in EXAoperation, all database backups written to that Amazon S3™ bucket will be encrypted with Amazon S3™ managed encryption keys (also known as SSE-S3).
