| Type | Bug |
| Status | Open |
| Affected Versions | Exasol 2026.1.0 |
Description
Under rare circumstances, the database could become unresponsive (livelock) under high DBRAM swapping pressure while attempting to enlarge the exclusive DBRAM area. A high number of database objects and high concurrency increase the likelihood of this issue.
Workaround
Contact Exasol Support if this occurs repeatedly. We can evaluate whether increasing the initial exclusive DBRAM size could help prevent the problem.
Fix
The issue is fixed so that the system no longer livelocks in this situation.
