Description
In Exasol 8.32.0 and later, EXA-to-EXA IMPORT/EXPORT operations may hang indefinitely in multi-node environments when parallel session token generation fails and the initial connection is established on a node other than node 0. Instead of returning the failure response to the client and aborting the operation, the server may fail to send the error reply, causing the client to wait indefinitely.
Workaround
Switch to Legacy Parallel Connection mode as described in:

The system reports the specific error that occurs during execution.
