Description

There was a bug that caused an internal error when trying to set a volume quota for a database via e.g.

confd_client db_configure db_name: Exasol volume_quota: 500GiB

As a result it also became impossible to start the database.

Workaround

There is no workaround.

In case database doesn’t start anymore after setting volume_quota in version where the bug is present, please contact Exasol to guide you through fixing the respective configuration file.

Fix

It is now possible to set volume quota.
