Description
Foreign backups could not be deleted unless a database with the matching name existed. This affected backup cleanup after restoring backups from another system, including upgrade workflows.
Workaround
Create a database with the matching name before deleting the backups.
Fix
The backup deletion command now determines the database from each backup ID. Foreign backups can be deleted without a matching database, and a warning is reported when a requested backup does not exist.
Changed behavior
The db_backups_delete command no longer accepts a database name. It determines the database from each backup ID and warns when a requested backup does not exist.
