Description

When performing a “sync-all” operation on snapshots to a remote data volume, it might happen that one process is encountering an error. This will lead to hang of the sync process. As a result backups won’t be written.

Workaround

Restart the cluster.

If a cluster restart is not possible or desired please contact Exasol support to guide you through terminating the respective hanging process.
