Description

Database backups may hang at 70-95% completion and never finish. This affects at least remote archive volumes using SFTP protocols, but likely other protocols are affected.

Remote archive volumes to smb, S3, GCS, and Azure Blob Storage are unaffected.

Workaround

Write backups to a different remote archive volume using a protocol that is unaffected.

Fix

In these cases, the backup completes successfully.
