Description
In very rare cases a node failure or database crash can leave some internal database processes running longer than expected. This can then inhibit the automatic failover process. Persistent data are not affected.
Workaround:
Stop storage and cluster services on DB nodes, then start them again. Then manually start the database.
Fix
The automatic failover process covers these cases and restarts the database as expected.
