Background

The Exasol ADO.NET installer also installs the EXAExtension for Visual Studio 2017/2019. In some cases, this is not necessary and may cause the installation to fail.

Improvement

The installer offers an option to skip the installation of the EXAExtension and checks if required tools are already installed on the machine.
