Description

On some Windows systems, the ODBC installer fails to install the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2019. The installation will finish without raising an error, however, trying to use the ODBC driver will not work. In these cases, the following error message is displayed when connecting:

System error 126: the specified module could not be found

Workaround

After installing the driver, install the required packages manually from the link below:

Fix

The redistributables are no longer included in the driver. They must be installed manually before the ODBC can be installed.
