Description

Under very rare circumstances, the database may crash when the JDBC driver reconnects to Exasol after disconnecting from it in a very short timeframe.

Only the Exasol JDBC driver versions 6.0.rc2 and 6.0.0 are known to trigger this behavior.

Workaroud

Install the latest Exasol JDBC Drivers. All JDBC drivers are backwards compatible. You can download them here

Fix

This behavior will no longer cause the database to be offline
