Description
Exasol's Session Management is described here. Once the number of active sessions reaches 80 active sessions, the following message is logged in EXAoperation:
Query queue limit of active sessions nearly reached
At 100 active sessions, this message is logged:
Limit of active sessions has been reached.
In some situations, these warnings might be logged erroneously because active slots occupied by idle sessions can be cleaned up. This means the message may appear, despite not actually having 80 + active sessions.
You can contact Exasol Support to confirm if the bug has occurred or not.
Workaround
The messages in EXAoperation can be ignored.
Fix
The warnings in EXAoperation will only be shown if there are truly 80+ active sessions.
