Description
When defining a URL for an ftp server that is used to update multiple clusters with Exasol updates, the cumulative OS security updates do not show up. This is because the files on the ftp server are filtered by file name to look for updates.
Workaround
The update package can be renamed, e.g. from
EXASOL-6.2-CentOS-7-CumulativeUpdate-202006241020.pkg
to
EXAClusterOS-CentOS-7.5.1804_Patchlevel-202006241020.pkg
Then it will show up in the list of available updates.
Fix
EXAoperation will recognize the file name and Cumulative OS Updates will show up in the list of available updates without any changes to the file name.
