Drivers

Exasol provides the following drivers that you can use to connect to third party applications:

• JDBC Driver
• ODBC Driver
• ADO.NET Data Provider
• PyExasol
• R Package
• SDK - Call Level Interface
• WebSockets

You can download the latest drivers from the Exasol Download Portal. The drivers are backwards compatible with all supported older database versions. We recommend that you always use the latest driver version, regardless of your database version.

There are no specific drivers for Exasol 8. The latest drivers for Exasol 7.1.x are fully compatible with Exasol 8.
